I would like to draw everyones attention to the darker side of the Lottery/lotto, scam. There are a lot about and i will try and notify you when I come across them.

At the moment internet scams and frauds are on the rise! The quantity of scam emails with various fraud schemes any email account receives today is simply overwhelming! There is this infamous Nigerian 419 scam, which is by far the most widely circulated one. And there are many other scams like Lottery/lotto, Letter of Credit, money transfer, black money conversion, real estate, fraudulent order and the list goes on and on. Looking at my daily doze of scam letters, looks like, the lottery/lotto scam seams to be gaining popularity among the con artists. This scam is similar to other forward fee schemes, where the goal of the con artist is to persuade an unsuspected victim to send an advance payment for some dubious offers that the swindlers never plan to fulfill.

Email Lottery Scam

The subject of the emails from an unknown source to you will, probably show, something similar to, Congratulation! You have won a lottery/lotto. With minor variations the text in most of these letters is virtually identical. The email, usually, claims to be issued by a Lottery/lotto Company based in some countries like The Netherlands, Switzerland, England, Canada or the USA.
And then it says that you are one of many people randomly chosen from all over the world to participate in a lottery of a very large sum. You along with some others have won this lottery. You will be asked to contact them immediately to claim your prize money. Most certainly, the letter will also warn you to keep this as a secret and will specify that the offer has a time limit.
If you contact them after receiving this letter; there are number of variation how the thugs will try to swindle you. They are quite imaginative and sometimes very innovative in their endeavors. In general the idea is you have to pay a fee before the lottery/lotto company can release your lottery/lotto winnings to you. The pretexts are, usually, an investigation company has to make sure that you are the right person who won the lottery/lotto, as a foreigner you have to pay a tax before you can get your lottery prize and there is a processing and handling fee that has to be paid before hand, etc.

Dont think that these dubious lottery/lotto offers are only sent by emails. People received them by regular mails, by direct phone calls and even by SMS.

Phone Call Lottery Scam

One fine morning you may receive a call from a person, claiming to be a lawyer from a prestigious law farm, and will tell you that you have won a foreign lottery/lotto; that a processing fee is due before the prize money can be released to you. Seniors citizens are most likely to be the victims of these telemarketers. If you are located in the USA, most likely, the person will introduce himself as a Canadian lawyer and will inform you as if you have won a Canadian Provincial Lottery/lotto.

Lottery Scam by SMS

You may even receive a SMS message advising that you have won a foreign lottery/lotto. You will be instructed to log onto a website and enter a login and password, which would be provided to you in the message. The site will have the same look and feel of a legitimate lottery/lotto site, but in fact, it is a copy site created by the scammers. The URL address will have a very minor, virtually, unnoticeable difference. Once you log in and see for yourself that you have really won the lottery/lotto, you will be asked to forward a gaming tax of US $100 to US $500 before you claim your prize.

How to identify these scams and avoid being conned?

The number one motto that you should follow is if it is too good to be true, then probably, it is indeed too good to be true! There is no way you can win a lotterylotto, in what you have never participated!

The followings are the signs of probable scam offers, you will be better off if you avoid them scrupulously:
Any offer, where you have to send cash upfront to redeem your lottery/lotto prize.
Any offer of a substantial percentage of a large sum of money to be transferred into your account, in return for your "discretion" or "confidentiality";
Requests for signed and stamped, blank letterhead or invoices, or for bank account information; Requests for payment in advance of transfer taxes or other fees;
Statements that your name was provided to the soliciting party either by someone you do not know or by "a very reliable contact;
"Unsolicited calls asking if you would like to be in a "Lottery/lotto pool";
Mail notifying you that you have already won a substantial sum of money on a lottery/lotto.

Everybody has their own lucky numbers

Most people when playing the lottery or lotto chose lucky dips. This gives you a random selection of numbers as your lotto entry. There is nothing wrong in this until you look closely at certain numbers which seem to crop up around you all the time.

Numerology predicts that certain numbers will show up in important combinations in your life again and again, which is so important when making your lottery/lotto selection. Your lucky numbers come from (2) sources: your date of birth, and your name (what you go by). Your date of birth gives us your Life Path, birthday, and your Fadic birthday, while your name gives us your Name lucky numbers.

To show you how their values are calculated and get you winning the lottery/lotto with out that word "luck", lets give an example. Actor Orlando Bloom was born on January 13th, 1977. We can calculate his lucky numbers as follows.

Life Path

Your Life Path is your luckiest number. It's Numerology's equivalent to your Sun sign in Astrology. You calculate your Life Path by adding together all the digits of your full date of birth, and then repeating the process until we get a single digit. This is called fadic addition. For Orlando Bloom, the process gives us (2) as shown below.

01-13-1977 = (0 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 7) = (29) = (2 + 9) = (11) = (1 + 1) = (2)

Birthday

Your Birthday is your second lucky number. It's the day of the month you were born on. Orlando Bloom's birthday value is (13).

Fadic Birthday

Your Fadic birthday is the result of adding together the digits in your birthday with fadic addition. If your birthday number is less than (10), then your fadic birthday is the same as your birthday number, and you have one less lucky number to work with. Orland Bloom's fadic birthday value is (4).

13 = (1 + 3) = 4

Name Lucky Numbers

Your Name lucky numbers are calculated by converting each of the letters in a name to it's position in the alphabet, reducing each number by fadic addition, and then summing the result. Two names will give us (2) lucky name numbers. If you use a third name or an initial (such as George W. Bush), you will have (3) lucky name numbers. Orland Bloom's name gives us (34) and (21) respectively.

Orlando = (15)+(18)+(12)+(1)+(14)+(4)+(15) = (6 + 9 + 3 + 1 + 5 + 4 + 6) = (34)

Bloom = (2)+(12)+(15)+(15)+(13) = (2 + 3 + 6 + 6 + 4) = (21)

Secondary Life Path Numbers

Finally, your Life Path number is so strong that we count all two-digit numbers, which match it when we use fadic addition on them as lucky numbers. This series of numbers can be found by adding multiples of 9 to your Life Path number. For Orlando Bloom this series of numbers is as follows:

11, 20, 29, 38, 47, 56, 65, 74, 83, and 92.

Conclusion

So Orlando Bloom's lucky numbers are: 2, 13, 4, 34, 21, and the Life Path series: 11, 20, 29, 38, 47, 56, 65, 74, 83, and 92. This calculation can be done for anyone because everyone has Lucky Numbers just waiting to be discovered.
